Nearly 30 Years of Tradition
Samovar Store was established in 1996 by a couple who emigrated to Mountain View, California. Alexander, originally from Azerbaijan, and Irina, who grew up in the Republic of Georgia, hadn’t envisioned running a grocery store before moving to the United States. Alex had a successful career as a mechanical engineer, and Irina was a dedicated piano teacher. However, their shared passion for food and cooking led to the creation of Samovar Store!
